Privilège du Château les Armes de Brandeau - 2015 - Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux - Powerful and surprising red wine from a rigorous selection of old vines, aged in French oak barrels

Resulting from the team's desire to extract the best from the terroir, the plots producing "Privilège" are identified according to the vintage during the harvest.  After the plot harvests and vinification, aging takes place in 20% new barrels, 40% barrels 1/wine - 40% barrels 2/wine for 15 months.   A spicy nose, with character, with scents of black fruits.  Aromas of cherry and dark chocolate, with an attack structured by powerful tannins. ❤️LE MONDE'S FAVORITE “Has incredible class: racy, very silky tannins, lots of length, very beautiful aromas of violet and red fruits” 15/20 THE POINT: Floral, cherry, blackberry jelly, elegant, fresh, lively palate, tight, fresh, crunchy tannins, good length, nice wine with finesse to wait for 90/100 YVES BECK: Bouquet of good intensity revealing notes of blackcurrant, cherries and licorice wood.  Delicious and slightly creamy attack.  The wine is well supported by its tannins which give it fullness while being in phase with the freshness of the acid structure.  Fruity finish, good persistence.2024-2034 2 stars Guide Hachette
