Gold shell pearl studs

I think this is one of my favourite pairs of stud earrings ever! They are absolutely adorable little shells with 48 tiny seed pearls set into each earring. Each tiny pearl is hand set into individual claws, so the workmanship is delicate, exquisite and extensive. You don’t get this kind of hand work very much these days. The post comes out from the middle of the shell so they sit perfectly on your earlobe. The metal is .925 sterling silver with half a micron of 18k gold vermeil, which should last a long time. Each earring is 15mm by 15mm and weighs 2g. What do we love about these earrings? They’re unique and totally gorgeous - they may be small, but they will certainly get your attention!
