Empeltre variety extra virgin olive oil 3L bottle - Matarraña

Our empeltre is an extra virgin olive oil that is produced exclusively from the empeltre olive variety. This is a variety grown almost exclusively in Bajo Aragón. Our farm is located in the beautiful Matarraña region in front of the Los Puertos massif, it extends between the municipalities of Cretas and Lledó.  The olive trees are 100% rainfed and some are centenary. Characteristics of the Empeltre variety: Smooth and fruity flavor, with notes of almond and fresh herbs. Intense golden color, with green and yellow reflections. Rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, which are beneficial for cardiovascular health. It also contains polyphenols and antioxidants, which have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Culinary uses: Empeltre oil is ideal for use in salads, to accompany fish and seafood, or to make sauces and dressings.
