Bicycle with Cyclist Wire Sculpture

Ride like the wind, and let your hair blow freely as you cycle through the town. The inspiration behind the bicycle with cyclist was to capture the artful form of a woman in motion riding her bicycle. I have hand-formed and welded this piece using galvanized wire while creating the bicycle and wind-blown hair from colored aluminum to add more definition and texture to this design. It stands 20 cm (8 inches) from top to bottom, making it easy to place on a shelf or as a centerpiece on a coffee table. The sculpture has the natural color of the galvanized wire that has been used, with no additional color or varnish of any kind.
