Cycling, Bicycle Racer Wire Sculpture

The intricate movements that the human body makes while cycling is truly fascinating. As such, I’ve captured that with this bicycle racer wire sculpture that I have hand-formed and welded using galvanized wire. The bicycle and helmet are made from colored aluminum to give a contrasted look while the cyclist looks poised to take off and win. Measuring 20 cm (8 inches) from top to bottom, this bicycle racer makes a fine addition to a living room or study area. It creates the opportunity for conversations and shows a love for cycling that you can display anywhere. As the light casts shadows upon it throughout the day, the feel of it will change, creating a truly unique and timeless gift for any cyclist. The sculpture has the natural color of the galvanized wire that has been used, with no additional color or varnish of any kind.
