Gracefully, she dangles from her perch in the sky. If fear is on her mind, she doesn’t show it, head held up high to endure her performance. I’ve handmade this wire sculpture in a completely free-form way without any model and without wrapping it around anything. Layer by layer, I have crafted her intricately in carefully-chosen angles to portray her stature as I envisioned. The wire helps me to shape each woman acrobat so that those angles can reveal new shadows with the way the light changes, day and night. As it hangs on your wall, it adds another dimension to this art, one that like life, takes on different tones and moods through all phases.
