Poster Bargoin Clermont-Ferrand Museum

A poster on the historical museum of Clermont-Ferrand: the Bargoin Museum. This museum of the history of natural sciences, located next to the Jardin Lecoq, took the name of a local industrialist of the 19th century who bequeathed his collections and his fortune to the city. The building was built by the Clermont architect Joseph Dionnet. A neoclassical building inaugurated in 1903 in the heart of the city, the Bargoin museum offers particularly rich and original collections. It houses two departments: one dedicated to local archeology (Bronze Age and Gallo-Roman antiquities) and the other to non-European textile arts. This poster pays homage to its neo-classical facade and its gates worked by the ironworker Bernardin.
