The Prunelle du Velay preserves! Or at least it seems to retain the big, jovial man with red cheeks and a broad smile that adorns this old advertising poster for the Prunelle du Velay aperitif brand. Dressed in a red jacket and a nightcap of the same color, this man who looks like he came straight out of the 18th century seems to be enjoying a glass of liqueur brandished enthusiastically, and carries an oversized bottle of Prunelle de Velay on his arm. Designed by Italian poster artist Leonetta Capiello for the Bonnet distillery located in Puy-en-Velay in Haute-Loire, this gouache-painted poster is famous among collectors of vintage alcohol brand posters.Format: 50x70 cm
