Heart necklace silver

This necklace is inspired by samplers. Samplers are traditional hand-made cloths that were made in the Netherlands from the 17th century to the 20th century. They were intended as practice pieces for young girls to learn and perfect different embroidery techniques, but they also served as a kind of portfolio of their skills. I also inherited a beautiful practice piece from my grandmother, who loved needlework.
