The Holistic Hound was established in 2005. We (Jo and Clair) are best friends and and Master Herbalists. We have been helping pet owners take control of their pets’ well-being and health with our range of holistic products. We personally produce our 100% natural products by hand, in small batches from our HQ in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

As certified Master Herbalists we have a wealth of experience in veterinary herbalism and complementary health care and behaviour since 2002. Our expert team ensure that each and every product that leaves the Holistic Hound HQ passes strict quality and safety checks.

We work closely with a number of key organisations in pet well being throughout Ireland, such as the local SPCAs, Dogs for the Disabled, the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (Ireland), and the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association.

The Holistic Hound range of products were awarded the Excellence Award for Pet Healthcare Remedies 2020 and 2019 by the Irish Enterprise Awards.

As with all natural remedies, no medicinal properties are claimed for any of these items but they can help in the maintenance of good health. Whilst we are happy to discuss any problems you may be experiencing with you or your dogs, we are not allowed by law to either offer a diagnosis or prescribe any treatments. We can only give general information and teach you how to look after yourself and your own pets. If you are in any doubt about your health or the health of your pets, you should always consult your vet in the first instance.

**Jo Arbon**
Jo Arbon founded the Holistic Hound UK and Ireland after her own dog fell ill and Jo wanted to see how alternative medicine might help. This led Jo to becoming a certified Master Herbalist and an experienced veterinary herbalist, working in the field of complementary health care and behaviour since 2002.

Jo trained initially through the Animal Care College, subsequently specialising in Herbal Therapies for Dogs with Dr. Jimmy Symmonds (co-founder of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists BAVH) and latterly with Barbara Fougére through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapy, and with the Caroline Ingraham Foundation for Applied Zoopharmacognosy.

**Clair Kelly**
Clair is the Chief Operating Officer and one of the Directors for Holistic Hound Ireland. Clair is a certified Master Herbalist and has been working with Holistic Hound since 2014.

Since joining the Holistic Hound, Clair has helped oversee the company's development and progression to being the best Irish natural pet healthcare producer.
