Notebook | The book of the comet

A cover notebook inspired by The Comet Book, a 16th century treatise on comets and published anonymously in ancient Flanders. This book, whose full title reads Comets and their general and particular meanings according to Ptolemy, Albumasar, Haly, Aliquind, and other astrologers, also contains a number of striking illustrations depicting comets of different shapes and sizes in the skies above our world and which inspired Cecilia Cappelli in designing the pattern presented on the cover.
