ITFDESIGN was born at the end of the 1960s from an entrepreneurial idea of my father Walter Turolo, founder and wood expert.
At the end of the '80s, at a very young age, I also joined the company, with a project: to produce a distinctive line of dining tables, in a district where the major chair production companies in the world were located, thus becoming true Design Makers.
In 1998, with the launch of a new generation of products called ITF 100% Design, ITFDESIGN definitively established itself in the international field.
The factory strengthens its commitment to research, quality, technical innovation and experimentation with new materials.
Design becomes the development of a line of thought, a path of research and experience and the factory becomes the vital center of the entire production process.
A production principle where tradition, rigor and the search for quality are well integrated with the constant experimentation of new materials and technologies, created with the support of important Universities and Research Centres.
This philosophy has led the company to patent a large number of models.
ITFDESIGN products undergo high-tech processes and are made using the most traditional and advanced materials: solid wood, porcelain stoneware, steel and aluminum alloys, polymeric materials.
All models are checked through strict tests to ensure compliance with the most important quality standards and safety standards.
The company carefully considers the stimuli coming from the world of design, from its customers, as well as from the evolution of living, to create contemporary solutions capable of satisfying all the needs of the present.
The result is a collection of products with an essential style but with a strong identity, which becomes part of all environments: at home, in study or work spaces, indoors or outdoors.
From our base in the north of Venice, we work together with artisans, who for generations have known how to passionately produce innovative woods and new materials, fusing our Italian mentality with global innovative skills and traditions.
We never stop, we try every day to take the next evolutionary step in the development of the next generation of ITFDESIGN products.
We are a design company with a focus on creativity and love in everything we do.

Today we are probably among the most expert companies in the production of tables and coffee tables with thin marble-effect porcelain stoneware, given that we were the first to present models with this new material at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2007.
We usually work in partnership with the most important European and North American distribution chains, therefore we know all the problems relating to the severe tests and regulations, both on our project proposals and on the customer's design.
