Korakundah is a very fine black tea. It is grown in India, in the Korakundah area, in the heart of the Nilgiris Mountains which translates to “The Blue Mountains”. Nilgiri Korakundah tea is surprisingly sweet for an Indian tea, with a lovely aromatic palette, slightly tangy, woody notes with a more fruity, almost honeyed finish. Full-bodied but not too much, sweet and balanced, neither tannic nor astringent, it is halfway between a Ceylon and an Assam. To be ordered in packs of 10.
