Korakundah is a very fine black tea. It is grown in India, in the Korakundah area, in the heart of the Nilgiris mountains which translates to "The Blue Mountains". Nilgiri Korakundah tea is surprisingly sweet for an Indian tea, with a lovely aromatic palette, slightly acidulous, woody notes with a more fruity, almost honeyed finish. Full-bodied but not too much, soft and balanced, not tannic or astringent, it is halfway between a Ceylon and an Assam. Conditioning : An economical format of 1kg of loose tea: intended more for restaurateurs who wish to serve good organic tea. We also offer other formats: 100g or 200g.
