A very traditional green tea in China. For centuries, the leaves of this tea have been heated and rolled into small balls. Hence its name gunpowder. It is produced in the Wuyan region of Jiangxi province. The tea leaves in balls unfold and give rise to an intense orange-yellow liquor. This tea can be brewed several times until the leaf is completely opened and all the aromas have been released. This Gunpowder organic green tea is characterized by its slightly tangy, refreshing flavor with a hint of bitterness. It also serves as the base for mint tea consumed in the Middle East or North Africa. The crops are organized in small plots within a 10 km radius around the farm. Within and between these small plots on the hill slopes are forests, bamboo groves, rocks, streams, rivers.
