
A Sencha green tea grown in China but prepared according to the Japanese method, that is to say the natural oxidation process is stopped by steaming (steam), rather than by dry heat as is generally done Chinese Sencha teas. On the other hand, it is not needle-rolled like Japanese Sencha. The leaves have a jade green appearance with golden highlights. The infusion is fresh, supple, slightly sweet.
