Kupu 10 is an upgraded version of our classic Kupu smoke detector • It works with a lithium battery with a lifespan of 10 years • Installation is done quickly with adhesive tape • Tested and certified in the EU • Including the mounting plate. Designed by Harri Koskinen Kupu 10 smoke detector uses photoelectric sensing technology to smell smoke different types of fires. The photoelectric (optical) detection method works by detecting infrared rays scattered by visible smoke particles. The smoke detector is equipped with a self-diagnostic tool and a check feature in order to ensure proper operation for its full duration. The device works so that, as soon as it feels presence of smoke, it will emit a continuous loud warning noise to alert residents.
