Pear, apple, fig & plum chutney

This is a fruity chutney spiced with cardamom. It has a natural sweetness from pears and figs. Chunky and flavoursome, this is excellent with cheese, but is great in a sandwich or toastie. The original recipe came about after Andre had a glut of pears from the garden.
