I do not draw my models beforehand, it is the material that directs me and the technique invites me towards volumes. It's a dialogue between them (material and technique) and me. I chose modeling porcelain. It presents several working textures. It can be worked supple, in leather look after a drying time, dry as stone. Each aspect has a different shaping technique. It is with this observation that I began a formal work on the first gestures of man. I started by scratching, tearing off the porcelain. I crumpled it, braided it like a piece of rope. Working for 10 years for the world of costume jewelry, craftsmanship seemed obvious to me to reconnect with a personal creation. Lucie, jeweler, joined me 3 years ago in this beautiful creative adventure. We work with 4 hands on all the pieces. After these moments of experience, we place these pieces of enamelled porcelain on a bust and we try to suspend them around a neck. Like small sculptures, we want them to move very close to you, to share them, so that you can show off. These are only unique pieces for this line. Each porcelain element imposes a new assembly.
