Trastario (Nanas for washing machines)

Honoring its name, Trastario brings together 30 poems dedicated to or inspired by everyday appliances that we find in our domestic environment: from the washing machine to the refrigerator, through the iron, the toaster or the vacuum cleaner. Their gears, the plugs they are connected to or the energy sources from which they feed to function, appear in this work in which Pedro Mañas acts as a mechanic, engineer or builder of verses. His tools are ingenuity and humor, with which he creates puns and double meanings, while experimenting with their sound and meaning, at times moving readers into the realm of playfulness.
