Textile jewelry "OYA", bracelet "HAWA"

Handmade lace textile bracelet from the "HAWA" collection. Bracelet color: Gold. These jewels are exclusive creations developed by KARAWAN. Previously, this know-how was only domestic, used as a hobby for vigils between women at home. These jewels were born from a meeting between a Turkish tradition and the eyes of the designer Christine DELPAL. KARAWAN initiated this sector by co-developing the project and the collections with the artisans, in Anatolia, in Turkey. This development has made it possible to professionalize some thirty women, and to provide them today with a fair and regular income. Since 2010, these 30 women from the surrounding villages have come together to train young people and organize production, which runs throughout the year. The collections are regularly updated.
