Vermouth 700 – Krauss' first vermouth, created in cooperation with Gut Moser in Leutschach Vermouth is flavored wine that is also given a higher alcohol content with neutral alcohol. Creativity can be given free rein when it comes to flavoring, although the wormwood herb that gives it its name must always play a role. 18% vol. The Krauss distillery wanted to keep it simple here, as with the gins, which usually only contain 3-6 main botanicals, and yet a special note had to be incorporated. That's why Krauss not only added neutral alcohol to the flavored wine, but also G+ Oak Cask Gin. This gin harmonises perfectly with the wine and gives it slightly woody, vanilla notes. The wine for Krauss Vermouth 700 is a Sauvignon blanc. This comes from Gut Moser, the highest winery in Austria at 700m. Recommended consumption: chilled pure or mixed 1:1 to 1:2 with a dry tonic or ginger ale.
