KYOCERA Kizuna paring ceramic knife 75 mm

Kizuna in Japanese means "bond". In fact, the original design and extraordinary characteristics favor the creation of a unique emotional bond between Kizuna ceramic knives and those who own them. The ceramic blades are produced using HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) technology and the compound is sintered at a temperature of 1500°C and subjected to a pressure of 20,000 t/m2. The blades are then skilfully worked recreating the design of traditional Japanese sand gardens. Kyocera blades keep their sharpness about 10 times longer than steel blades, do not rust and do not carry the taste or smell of cut foods, to which they do not transfer harmful metal ions such as nickel. The extremely high hardness of the ceramic also makes it possible to obtain blades with such a thin edge as to guarantee unparalleled cutting edge, a universally recognized feature of Kyocera knives. The handmade handle is made of Pakka wood, riveted with stainless steel applications that give the final touch to the aesthetics of the knife. Only a series of knives that represents pure perfection can bear the Kizuna name.
