Josephine Baker and I

I am a cat, a big cat.   They call me Chiquita.   Maybe because I'm a cheetah, a cheetah.   Maybe not.   It was never explained to me why.    In the 1930s, in Paris, Joséphine Baker, a black dancer born in the United States, enjoyed immense success thanks to the Revue nègre. 
It was at this time that she was offered Chiquita, a cheetah who would at the same time scandalize, terrorize and fascinate those around her, while a fierce complicity was woven between the woman and the feline.    A poetic and colorful documentary, which highlights the complicity between an extraordinary woman and her animal.
