 What is crepe? 
Like rayon, it's made from cellulose. 
It's just a different manufacturing process that results in crepe.
 We advise you to wash your fabric before cutting the pattern. 
This allows the finishing to be removed and the fabric to be fixed, which can sometimes shrink after the first wash.
