Sangria Spices

Sangria is an alcoholic beverage with controversial origins. According to some sources, sangria does not come from Spain, but rather from the West Indies or South America. It was in the 19th century that the first references to this drink were made, all on the American continent. However, Father Esteban Torres would have reported as early as 1788 that this delicious drink, invented by the English, was widely drunk in the French and British colonies in the West Indies.
