On July 17 she reaches the Pacific Ocean through the Panama Canal, on December 10 she arrives in Sydney, Australia. In 1977 she continued her journey via the Indian Ocean to arrive in Durban in South Africa on September 17. On March 20, 1978 at 9 p.m. GMT, she circumnavigated the globe at coordinates 16° 8′ 30″ N, 35° 50′ 0″ W, and finally on March 21, 1978 she reached Las Palmas.
