Landa's Whiskey - Saugane

French Whisky, Single Grain Barley Malt, Raw Barley and Corn. The Saugane production campaign is the second for Landa's Distillerie. It took place from 2020 to 2021, with brewing combining barley malt with non-malted and local cereals. After two traditional direct flame distillations in Pot Still, the new-make (or distillate) undergoes a double maturation for one year in new French oak barrels then two years in Ex-Porto Ruby. Nose: Spring. Very floral and a bit vinous. Palate: Frank and spicy attack. A little woody and cereal. Final a bit bitter, on citrus fruits.
