A poetic mechanism for a smooth opening. Thanks to its ingenious rack and pinion system, the Soft Machine® extracts the cork in a single, fluid movement. Once the support lever is placed on the neck, the mechanism keeps the wick perfectly vertical throughout the uncorking phase. The result: effortless, twist-free extraction in a single, continuous motion—where traditional corkscrews require a two-step operation. The Soft Machine® also incorporates a foil cutter blade and a bottle opener hidden in its handle and toad. Designed by L’Atelier du Vin, this exceptional bottle opener is assembled and finished by hand.
