Cityscape Cushion / Melbourne

The Cityscapes: Enthralled and inspired by the cultures she interacted with, Laura documented moments in each country she visited.  With her love and expert experience of homewares and interiors, she found a way of conveying her experience of these cultures in a contemporary and modern way which evokes fond memories for herself and which anyone who has travelled the world, or dreamed of it, can relate to.  Melbourne: This image originates from an evening walk along St Kilda Pier. The sky stands out in my memory as a beautiful coral & dark blue, punctuated by the setting sun. I wanted to translate this image into an abstract / modern print, harnessing the emotion I felt, to use in my homewares and prints. Size: 45x45cm
