1930s Dresser English Oak

This is a stunning repurposed English Oak Dresser with a history and a great one! She was handmade in the 1930's for a wedding present. She had to be put into storage during the war and the family name was chalked on the back. She came out of storage and was passed down through the family from Grandmother to mother to son. The son was a school friend of mine who 30 or so years later gifted it to me to put some love into her and make her pretty again. I preserved the family name on the back which has been left unpainted to show that history. She has bundles of storage, 2 big cupboards with shelves either side of a pull out wine rack, and 3 drawers, one of which I lined with champagne gold velvet. She really is a statement piece to match that incredible English history. If you are interested in buying her please contact me for a courier quotation. **PLEASE NOTE THIS DRESSER IS EXTREMELEY HEAVY** 10% of each of my sales is donated to The Retreat Animal Rescue in Ashford Kent. Process She has been hand painted in Fusion mineral paint in Lichen and the insides and detail are painted in Fleur's Champagne Gold Metallic paint. I have added a beautiful cherub design from the Tuppence Collective and some aging pigment to the inlays. She has been finished in Polyvine Decorators varnish for durability.
