"Lussac Saint Emilion AOC Chateau Haut Gazeau Located at the highest point of the place called "" Gazeau "" hence the origin of its name, the Château HAUT-GAZEAU estate covers 9 hectares planted with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, on soils with sandy-clay textures and a clay-limestone subsoil. The average age of the vines is 40 years. Cultivation methods are traditional, ensuring the greatest respect for the soil and the vines: Thinning and stripping are carried out, if necessary, depending on the climatic conditions and the course of the vegetative cycle. The fermentation and vatting of the harvest is thermoregulated. The entire harvest is aged in French oak barrels chosen according to the vintage, then bottled at the château.
