Giribaldi "Alma" Piemonte Barbera - Foreign wines Italy - Red Italian wine - Vintage 2019 - Organic wine A very nice wine made from barbera grapes, a typical red variety from Piedmont. The vineyards are located on a hilly area at 300 meters above sea level and are conducted in organic farming. For a long time, the Barbera had a mediocre reputation, giving average wines, nor greatness, for the production of mid-range wines. However, serious winegrowers from Piedmont have been able to demonstrate its qualities, and prove that it could compete with "great wines". On the palate, the fruity and complex flavors strike immediately, where we distinguish ripe strawberries, black cherries and raspberries accompanied by notes of violets, vanilla and sweet spices. The wine is round, juicy, endowed with a beautiful texture and balanced by a fine acidity which makes it greedy and suave.
