Léage is a brand of unisex fine leather goods. Each product combines different shapes, colors and porters to facilitate and optimize your travels. The size and volume of the products come from an analysis of the measurements of computers, laptops and other containers. Léage wishes to find a perfect balance between design, functionality and comfort.
The brand attaches great importance to its CSR. It implements actions to not only reduce its ecological impact with its tannery but also social with its manufacturer.
Léage's ecological policy relates to its production of leather and can be measured in terms of energy reduction (lighting hours saved) and water (gallon of water). Léage uses the ecological tannery Tantec, certified LWG Gold, ISO 14001 and ECO2L, having developed its own LITE program: low impact to environment. It uses a material allowing to save 1023.91 hours of lighting and 30.27 gallons of water. This corresponds to 50% reduction in energy and water by maximizing the use of natural energy (sun, rain, wind) and an internal water recycling system.
Social policy relates to the manufacture of the finished product (bag and small leather goods). It can be measured by hourly labor cost. Léage uses the SHF factory, the hourly cost of which is three times that of the market. This contributes to the well-being of artisans both in terms of wages and working conditions (workplace, health insurance, etc.).
