Leonista Reposado

Leonista Reposado (meaning “rested”) is mellow and aged, and is our senior member of the pride. Small batch, organic, wild/natural yeast fermentation for 5 days, and then copper-pot stilled. It is then aged for 3 - 6 months in American oak barrels resulting in a smooth, sweeter flavor with hints of a smoky finish. We've sourced these barrels from a local Brandy company to truly give it a uniquely South African touch.
