These green tomatillos will allow you to prepare your green sauces. Tomatillos (Physalis Philadelphica) are small green fruits about the size of a small tomato.   They are a staple food in most Latin American countries. É Also known as tomatillo or green tomato, they grow in large quantities in Mexico.   They have a slightly acidic taste.  They are the main ingredient in salsa verde and are widely used in Mexican cuisine.   They are delicious and nutritious.   Canned, like here, tomatillos are delicate, but don't worry, use a strainer and carefully remove them from the can - all the flavor is still there!
