Brunoise CARROT - eco

The carrot is a root vegetable belonging to the Apiaceae (or Umbelliferae) family. It is characterized by a conical or cylindrical shape and a bright orange color, although there are also purple, red, white and yellow carrot varieties. Carrots are rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin K, fiber, antioxidants and minerals such as potassium and phosphorus. Carrots are used in many cooking recipes, including salads, soups, stews and side dishes.

Dehydrated carrots are carrots that have been dried to remove most of their water content. This dehydration process extends the shelf life of carrots and makes them lighter and easier to transport. Dehydrated carrots can be used in many dishes, such as soups, stews, casseroles, sauces, pizza toppings, salads, snacks and much more. When rehydrated, they regain a texture and flavor similar to fresh carrots. Dehydrated carrots are also an excellent source of nutrients, as they retain most of their vitamins and minerals even after the dehydration process.

Dehydrated carrots can be added directly to soups or stews to give them more flavor and texture.

dehydrated carrots can be rehydrated and used as a garnish for side dishes such as gratins, casseroles and stews, or be crushed and added to sauces to give them more flavor and color, but also, be used in salads to give them more crunch and flavor.

It's important to note that brunoise carrots have a firmer texture than fresh carrots, so they may take a little longer to rehydrate. It is recommended to rehydrate them in hot water or broth for 10 to 15 minutes before using them in a recipe.
