The Transfarmers Compost Planter feeds your plant with your peelings. Ecological, it is handcrafted in France using natural and sustainable materials. It reduces waste production and raises awareness of the cycle of nature. The compost part works with compost worms (not included). Weight (empty): about 9 kg Dimensions: Pot – Height 46 cm • Width 30 cm • Depth 33 cm Cup – 36×46 Resulting from an artisanal work and made with a raw material, our pieces are unique and present variations in color and appearance. The top of the pottery of this piece is enamelled for an even more decorative effect as well as easy maintenance. The enamel protects the terracotta and does not stain. The bottom of the piece remains in raw natural terracotta and like any porous terracotta pot, acquires a patina over time. To maintain the raw part, we advise you to spray it with water / or a mixture of water + alcohol vinegar from time to time in order to dissolve the mineral salts which may appear on the surface, and to wipe it with a cloth. In addition, you can wipe it with a cloth lightly soaked in linseed oil once or twice a year. The enamelled part can be cleaned dry or with a simple wipe of the sponge. The composter flowerpot is a flowerpot connected to a vermicomposter that works with compost worms. It is designed to turn plant waste into compost. Its ingenious system allows the plants installed there to benefit from it and benefit from simplified maintenance. Less need to water and no need for fertilizer! Compost should be harvested occasionally and can be used to enrich the soil for other plants. It is indoors that the composting flower pot will be the most productive, however it can be placed outdoors (sheltered from the weather). Do not throw your peelings in the trash! Give them to your worms and your plant. For orders of composters greater than 2 pots, contact us to obtain the appropriate offer.
