Rosé Wine - Cantate des Garrigues rosé AOP Languedoc Cabrières

A creamy, supple and complex rosé made from Cinsault and Grenache Its nose is subtle and elegant.

On the schist soils, at the edge of the plot, a scrubland develops composed of small aromatic plants (thyme, fennel, cistus, lavender, Spanish broom, honeysuckle, cade, mint, etc.) which from the month of August spread a multitude of aromas on the skin of the grapes which we enhance by aging in barrels.   From this observation was born the Cantate des Garrigues selection based on old plots of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah.   Grape varieties: Based on old plots of Cinsault (45%), Grenache (45%) and Syrah (10%).   Degree: 13° Vintage: 2017 Vinification: Harvest at the end of the night, gentle pressing and fermentation at low temperature.   Aging: 6 months on fine lees: half in vats and half in barrels.   TASTING View: Pale color with purple reflection Nose: The nose is subtle and elegant: mixed with the scents of scrubland and the crunch of fresh fruit.   Mouth: It is complex, ample and fresh.   GASTRONOMY Serving temperature: 10° Recommended dishes: You will appreciate it in a culinary combination where the spices reveal the contrasting flavors of Mediterranean dishes.   Aging: Drink now or age in the cellar for one or two years.
