After drawing school and training graphic design Clemens ended up on the street. “He was no sweetheart, but has always remained an honest and upright man.” he says there yourself about. Ultimately, a graffiti made work on its own front door made him homeless. He didn't actually appear to want so much, his dreams to experience the world did not have to to be unaffordable. With this thought Clemens decided to live on what he got from the people. What turned out? Every day he had food and every night he he can sleep somewhere inside, people are good. He walked 3000 kilometers across Europe and spent months in big cities like Berlin and Warsaw. His journey eventually brought him to Nijmegen where he lived on the streets for a while and regularly went to Het Crossroads came. He often visited The Atelier of the Art of Survival where he could make his graffiti art on canvases. The Crossroads states regular art by visitors, (former) homeless people, exhibit and sell that art as well. Fortunately Clemens now has another good place to live. This sock with REBEL symbolizes the graffiti that ultimately made him make this trip. DESCRIPTION REBEL is the work Clemens made for this sock. REBEL is the tag which Clemens uses as a graffiti artist. Rebellion against what according to our society should be and yet a good person stay, that's the thinking behind this tag.
