Embroidery Hoop - SOS

A hand-stitched message – SOS – and its translation into Morse code are framed by a wooden hoop. Embroidered by a woman living in a refugee camp in Greece, this is much more than a colourful addition to your home or gift for a loved one. Each hoop provides a woman with a means to earn a living while living in a camp and a way to create a new life for herself and her family. A beautiful, poignant way to support those fleeing war and violence as they discover a safer, more secure future.
