We are Producers-Harvesters and traditionally produce naturally effervescent ciders, apple juices and cider vinegars with the apples we harvest in our orchard, in the shade of the Perguet church in Bénodet.

It all started with Guillaume Stéphan, who, from 1946, delivered cider in barrels in Bénodet, in particular to hotels buying the cider in this way and bottling it themselves. At the time, he delivered to bistros in the Pays Bigouden by crossing the Odet with his horse and cart by ferry. The cider was served there in the key, the barrel on the counter (the ancestor of the beer dispenser).
In the early 1960s, cider began to be marketed in Champagne bottles (corked cider). Deliveries are made to grocery stores and shops until the 1990s.

In 1987, Guy, son of Guillaume and horticulturist by trade, created his own orchard in Bénodet on family land. He has maintained it for over 30 years.
With retirement approaching and a strong desire to pass on his orchards to his sons Alexandre and Guillaume, Guy then decided to set up a processing workshop in order to perpetuate his father's trade. Alexandre, eager to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, follows a cider production course during a professional retraining.

With the support and participation of the family, Cidrerie Maison de Perguet was born in October 2018.

Attached to the traditional know-how, heritage of his paternal grandfather, Alexandre continues the family tradition, like a phoenix rising from its ashes, by developing products combining Nobility and Modernity!
The juices are pressed and bottled on site with apples from the family orchard including varieties of old apples and some typical of Fouesnant. Its cider range is exclusively in natural effervescence, with certain products aged in oak barrels, as in the past!
