Classic sailboat produced by Maison Tirot for several decades! This sailboat is made like all our models in beech wood. The eyelets on the hull, which act as portholes, are a nod to the town of Fougères located right next to our workshops. Indeed Fougères has for a very long time been a high place of the shoe industry in France and still retains today an exceptional know-how in the field of leather goods. This sailboat is equipped with a Bermuda rig with a jib struck on a bowsprit mast. With its wooden keel and steel ballast, this sailboat holds the sea very well! Thanks to the cleats on the deck, you can adjust the sails to adapt to all gaits and sail at best according to the weather conditions. Maison Tirot has always made its toy sailboats with the greatest care. From the choice of raw materials to the making of toys, the know-how passed down from generation to generation allows Tirot boats to withstand the weather and all the storms they will have to go through;) Designed and made in Brittany (🇫🇷 ) according to traditional and artisanal methods, the Tirot sailboats are all unique. These toy sailboats can be launched anywhere: in park basins, in ponds and even in the middle of the ocean. The maintenance of the toy is very simple, you just have to wipe it well and rinse it after each sea trip then let it dry well before putting it back in the water.
