Established in September 2019 as a bag brand, Makafui has expanded to be a sustainable Netherlands-based wardrobe brand founded by Ernestina Makafui Mensah.
With a passion for women values and equality, Makafui seeks to create designs for lovers of luxury. Our designs are intentionally crafted to make women feel like their most confident selves. Through fashion, we communicate with our community and remind them never to accept any limitations that might be placed on them.
Ernestina established Makafui after having her second son before the pandemic started. Now, she combines taking care of her two sons and running her small business.
