Ren Mjød / Pure Mead - 350ml

As the name suggests, the taste and scent of this mead is pure and simple, yet with dryness that comes from ageing in an oak barrel. Due to the fact that there is no other additives than the honey, the process of blending the honey flavours to maximize the taste profile is an art in itself. Only when the profile is just right, can the mead go into the oak barrel. The oak barrel used for the pure mead is an old sherry barrel, which adds a fantastic richness to the mead. Every year we try to blend a new honey profile, therefore the taste of the pure mead will vary from year to year. We only use Danish honey and locally sourced ingredients
