Flat size: 13.5 x 13.5 cm Bowl dimensions: +- 5 x 5 cm H 2.5 The shell used is a nacreous shell (Placuna Placenta) commonly called ''capiz''. It is picked up in South East Asia and worked by hand. To be shaped, it is baked, bleached, pressed on moulds, dried, polished, colored and finally coated with protective layers. These dishes are not suitable for the dishwasher, but should be washed in mild detergent with a damp cloth.
