The loofah (or loofah in English) is a plant from the Cucurbitaceae family whose use of the fruit is the ideal 100% natural and vegan alternative for daily hygiene, guaranteed without plastic and without chemical treatment. Here is a really zero waste soap dish, sold in bulk: 100% compostable and biodegradable! Very practical, it prevents the soap from slipping on the edge of the sink and can also be used as a mini exfoliating sponge for the toilet! The loofah then becomes very soft as soon as it has been moistened and is suitable for all skin types, even the most delicate and sensitive. In addition, it has many properties, leaving skin soft and healthy: - stimulates blood circulation, - acts in the prevention of cellulite, - reduces blackheads, - acts to prevent ingrown hairs, - removes dead skin, - is very respectful of all skin types. 🇪🇸 Where and how is our loofah grown? > Sustainable, responsible and artisanal cultivation in the North of Spain (small farms of non-intensive cultivation), in which no phytosanitary products are used. All the material used is biodegradable and/or recyclable. > Fruits harvested by hand and at maturity. Unlike some farms where the loofah is cleaned with caustic soda, our fruits are emptied and washed manually and with natural thermal water at 42°C. The loofah preparation center is located at the heart of our farms. Everything is handcrafted there. 🧼 Instructions for use as an exfoliating sponge: - Moisten the sponge well: initially the sponge will be a little stiffer than a conventional sponge, but it will quickly soften with use. - After each use, rinse it well and wring it out, then let it air dry. Store it in a dry place. 🧹 Maintenance tips: - To eliminate any bacteria: . occasionally microwave the moist loofah for 10 to 20 seconds, . boil it for ten minutes, . wash it from time to time in the washing machine at 30°C. - If the loofah changes color or smell, it's time to replace it. It is then to be placed in the compost: it is 100% natural and biodegradable!
