Natural loofah sponge (Loofah)

The loofah is a plant of the Cucurbitaceae family whose use of the fruit is the 100% natural, healthy and vegan alternative ideal for daily hygiene (for the toilet but also dishes and cleaning!). A truly zero waste solution, simple and effective, sold in bulk: 100% compostable and biodegradable! 👉 Here is an ideal sponge for doing all your dishes (plates, cutlery, glasses, utensils...), but also for bathing or cleaning the surfaces of your kitchen or bathroom, even delicate ones such as glass, ceramic hob , marble, porcelain… It becomes very soft and does not scratch as soon as it has been moistened! 🇪🇸 Where and how is our loofah grown? It is cultivated in a sustainable, responsible and artisanal way in the North of Spain, in small farms (non-intensive cultivation), located next to each other and in which no phytosanitary products are used. In addition, all the material used for the plantations is biodegradable and recyclable. The fruits of the loofah are harvested by hand and at maturity (facilitating its cleaning). Unlike some loofah farms where the fruits are cleaned with caustic soda, the latter are emptied and cleaned manually and with local and naturally hot thermal water (42°C). The loofah preparation center is located in the immediate vicinity of these farms. Everything is handcrafted there. 🔎 Tips for use: - Moisten your sponge: don't worry, at first the sponge will be a little stiffer than a conventional sponge, but it will soften quickly with use. - After each use, rinse it well and wring it out, then let it air dry. - Store it in a dry place. 🧹 Maintenance tips: - You can wash it from time to time in the washing machine at 30°C - Eliminate any bacteria: occasionally microwave the moist loofah for 10 to 20 seconds. - If your loofah changes color or smell, now is the time to replace it. ♻️ You can then put it in the compost: it is 100% natural and biodegradable! 💡In summary: - 100% natural and compostable. - Without plastic. - Healthy, vegan and natural alternative to synthetic plastic sponges. - Soft sponge that allows you to clean everything, even dishes and delicate surfaces. - Sold in bulk without packaging, just a cardboard label. - Handcrafted, sustainable and responsible in Spain.
