The NIVOSE brand was founded in 1933 by the company P. Marche-Roche at the foot of the French Alps, in Lyon. In the early 1930s winter sports fashion gained popularity and NIVOSE became a leading brand with a selective clientele, creating the first real ski collections under the motto;

From its appointment as official supplier of winter clothing for the French expedition to the Himalayas in 1936, through the manufacture of clothing for the North Pole exploration team in Lapland and French ski schools in 1938, to over the years, NIVOSE has continued to create iconic designs that celebrate the idea of French elegance on and off the track.
