Lemoncino du Gargano is born from the slow maceration of lemon peels. This liqueur is produced exclusively with Femminello IGP Gargano lemon peels, which is why it does not bear the name “Limoncello”, better known to the general public. Sweet and aromatic, Lemoncino can be served as an aperitif, but it is usually used as a digestive, served iced. It is guaranteed gluten-free. The citrus fruits used by Rocco Afferante to make his liqueurs were recognized at the Slow Food show as being part of varieties saved because they are on the verge of extinction.
